Persist Records was founded in 2004 by Artist, Composer and Producer Tom Salta. The label was established to launch Salta’s electronic music outfit Atlas Plug. "Our main priority is getting Atlas Plug off the ground", says Tom, "But we are open to new opportunities as they arise". The label's main musical focus is music for visuals. "I believe the demand for music that can accompany visuals, whether it be film, television, or interactive entertainment is where much of the future of music resides.”

Riding the wave of today's digital downloading trend, Persist Records has signed a deal with the Apple iTunes Music Store and will be making Atlas Plug’s “2 Days or Die” album available for digital download. Atlas Plug’s CD can also be purchased directly from the Persist Records Store below.

Tom Salta has worked with numerous independent and major recording artists. His credits feature platinum-selling records and industry critic’s choice awards. As an artist and independent label owner he has pioneered multimedia crossover placements and exposure in TV network and commercial spots, movie trailers and videogame soundtracks.
